You can easily go for the luxury option (and definitely the most famous option!) - Tabacon. Its undeniably gorgeous but not everyone is looking to spend more than $80 for a day pass with no meals included. So, if you're looking for the best day pass deal in La Fortuna, Baldi is in my opinion your best bet. Let's dive into why.

With 25 hot pools all beautifully connected by crystalline waterfalls, you'll have more than enough options to fully relax and unwind. Each pool has its own unique temperature, so you can decide how hot you want the water to be by choosing which one to go to. Whether you prefer hot, warm, or cool water, there is a pool for everyone. You can even find a hidden sauna within a rock cave and do some cold plunge therapy towards the middle of the property.

If you plan on staying the whole day at Baldi Hot Springs, they have a buffet with lots of options for food. The restaurant provides top-notch service, including traditional Costa Rican dishes, salads, and desserts. The price is reasonable.

Another great thing about Baldi Hot Springs is that there are lots of pool bars where you can have a nice drink while you relax in the pool. The bartenders are friendly and make delicious cocktails. I recommend trying the piña colada, which is a classic tropical drink that pairs perfectly with the relaxing atmosphere of the hot springs.

Especially great for getting those perfect Instagram worthy shots.

Last but not least, Baldi Hot Springs is in my opinion the most fairly priced hot springs in the area, and it's not too far from the town center either. You get excellent value for your money, and the quality of the experience is unbeatable. It’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing day in La Fortuna, Costa Rica.
